This wwinsorganization really needs to look at the coaches from the farm up! We don’t s*** well at all… we can’t even square up low 90’s fastballs on a regular basis. We don’t develop pitchers at all! And can anyone rattle off a few names that our farm system has developed that had mad a difference… a real difference and I’m not talking about the guys who jumped from start up… why can the Rays develop talent and we can’t! Maybe it’s the way we draft!

As I said the last Rays series, I do not believe we can beat this Rays team. They are just that much better than we are. If we get one great pitching performance in this series they will win this series 3-1 IMO. If we get lucky we might get a split. We will likely get to the Wild Card and could beat the Yankmees. After that, I just don't see us going anywhere if we even get that far.

 

If we can't beat the Rays, and yeah we probably can't, we are better off with the Rays winning so that the Yankees don't pick up games on them. We want the Yankees to play in the wild card game and not win the division.

The Rays players and coaches have zero respect for the Redsox as a team they are literally making fun of this teams Makeup every time I watch them play .The Redsox have Become the Devil Rays and The Devil Rays have become the late 90 s Yankees to The Redsox .Bloom Seems more like a stats nerd than a MLB GM .I cannot stand this hire and likely never will after the Horrific Trade of Betts .How can we have not received a package for an Ace pitcher for Mookie ? Worst trade I’ve ever seen .I honestly hope the guy turns it around because this is absolutely Brutal .

Well, the chances for the division sailed away a few weeks ago. I can see how their current play is not inspiring confidence. The Rays are a solid ball club. They play hard. They are good defensively. Their pitchers keep them competitive each game. The lineup is decent 1-9.

 

A lot of times, it feels like the Sox often are a confused Sam Beckett who has just leaped into a new person's body and unsure where they are and what time it is.

Moon, it depends what your idea of jumping ship is. I am all for us getting a wild card spot and beating the Yankees. Hell ya bring it on!!!! But if by jumping ship means, people saying “we won’t beat Tampa in the playoffs or Houston. Well then yes…. I guess 99 percent of fans have jumped ship

Outside of the first series we are 2-8 against the Rays and they have outscored us 63 to 47...... Most of these games aren't even close. Here is some of the blow outs

Sorry if anyone takes this as a negative post, but if you truly think we can compete with this team come playoffs...... Give your a head a shake..... Outside of that first series to start the season, the Sox have shown ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to anyone to prove they belong with Tampa or Houston. That is not a negative post, that is a simple fact.
