Pivetta hasn't been at his best tonight, but Vazquez hasn't been much help and the defense has stunk--both JDM dropping the pop fly and Dalbec not holding onto the grounder. Great play by Devers, however.

 

I do think this season is over for the Sox.

Bloom wanted this team to be bad so he could be the savior! Cora isn’t the manager everyone makes him out to be! Putting JD in RF is always a terrible idea, not having KS in the lineup at all is terrible and we pick up Shaw to just let him get a pinch hit here or there! Great GM moves and in-game coaching has killed this season! On to next year

The Sox are hard to watch. Lead off walk with the meat of the order coming up. The only way we get a runner in scoring position is a wild pitch. This is the same team that destroyed the Orioles. The yankee pitching is not that good tonight. I think the Sox swing at more ball fours than at any time in the past.
