Meh. I've been to games at Fenway twice and hated it both times. Horrible sight lines. Lovely ballpark on TV, though. Plus the hot dogs and beer at home are a whole lot cheaper.

He’s playing too much IMO and is wearing down. This is the 86th game he’s caught in this year; this is the Sox 101st game. I’d rather see him catching about 70% of the time. He’d be much fresher.

Ray pitching the 6th means the Jays manager thinks his guys can win the next two games as well. Their bullpen will be more rested. Plus of course Ray continues to inflict real pain on the Sox lineup.

Vaz bat use to cover up for a lot but the guy has far too many passed balls his arm looks Meh now and hi s handling of a staff has never been stellar.Why not Maximize his value while he has any left for a starter in a package deal .Make Plawlecki the made man and promote the kid .

I know. I sort of got playing Vaz a lot while Plawecki was on the IL, but Cora was doing it before that happened as well. There have been several times when it’s been a day game after a night game, which usually means the back up is going to catch one of them.
