Yes, Houston has a vast underground, pedestrian tunnel system- complete with restaurants and shops.

Have done multiple big trade shows in Houston. The thing I did not like about the "underground" system from hotel to Trade Show venue is that given how much work there is to do at a Trade Show you never went outside at all until it was time to leave for the airport and the flight home. At least in my case, that got to me after awhile. 3-4 days of nothing but heavily conditioned air was about all I could stand and often these shindigs were longer than that.

Like he should bench one of them due to a 3 game slump?

Absolutely not. Those four are the heart of the Sox offense. Thus it is all the more dismaying they can't hit Astros pitching--at least, not yet.

Odorizzi has a high ERA, 6.75, but looked pretty good his last time out against the Padres.

You know as well as I do that teams during a 162 game schedule go thru offensive slumps. My point was that no way should a player with a OBP of .290 be leading off.

Completely agree with any and all tweaks to the lineup. I think the Astros have our guys buffaloed, but that could mean any change is better than no change.

I guess I'll never understand what is so dismaying about any player(s) going on a 3 game slump- no matter who they are facing.

THUNDER reply, "I'm sure Cora is listening to you, and will do exactly as you say."

Since they DFA'd Brewer today I guess they did listen! Suck on that A@@wipe.

That change up to Devers broke a streak of 56 consecutive fastballs to the Sox 3rd sacker.

But it was a fastball he smacked for a long double.

Double steal--my goodness. Too bad they nailed Devers going home.

Astounding 3 run dinger by Arroyo. Game changer, I hope. Season changer, possibly.

I'd like to see this line-up, today:

1. Verdugo LF

2. Arroyo 2B

3. JD DH

4. Devers 3B

5. Bogey SS

6. Renfroe RF

7. Santana 1B

8. Vazquez C

9. Hernandez CF

Not that far off.

Oh, I know, and he had those two soft hits last night off them as well.

But nobody sees that many fastballs in a row. You don’t see it to the worst hitting pitcher, let alone an everyday player.

That's at least two drag bunts by the Astros that went straight back to the pitcher for easy outs. This is a set back because I was going to suggest the Sox bunt for hits more often than every three months.

Worth a shot. 0-2 count, etc. I don’t like the dive into home, catchers got gear on just looks like an injury waiting to happen.

Get rid of Perez, who has utterly failed to execute the accepted Sox pitching guidance, "do not pitch to contact." This nut case doesn't have a single walk and has only thrown 25 pitches in 3 innings.

Agree on all points, especially the headfirst slide. But that's Devers.

So... about that Danny Santana hitting well thing....

I still like him, and he seems to get a good jump on the ball in CF.

Perez's pitch count after 4 is as low a number as I've seen from a SOX starter in a very, very long time.
