WHERE THE HELL IS VALDEZ???? Man..... guy has been solid all year. Got knocked around a bit 12 days ago and haven’t seen him since. Makes zero sense.

Arroyo got hit in the hand again. With Verdugo out tonight, very limited options.

Tell me again why we need 14 pitchers.

They’re coming around to me. I’m not a fan of when extras go 17 or 18. But I can see how it can be annoying.

IMO those teams who bat first have the advantage because will put pressure to the other team since they will likely score fírst.

Look what happened here.

This is not baseball at all.

BP's are like a box of chocolates.

Yep, and the more guys you have to use, the more likely it will be that one of them doesn’t have it on a given night.

Ya fair point for sure. Granted with that homer Whitlock just gave up, not sure it would have mattered anyway. This team is just finding ways to lose the last 19 games.

Strenuously disagree. Both teams have exactly the same chance to score, and in fact the psychological advantage belongs to the home team. Shoop had a great at bat before that scratch single. Before that, he almost had a double and a dinger down the right field line.

Whitlock simply wasn't up to the moment.

Just like that- the Whitlock bubble burst.

To be fair, the ump killed him. He didn’t give him that SO down in the zone, and the very next pitch, a hit falls exactly out of reach between the infield and the outfield.

This is why I hate these extra inning rules. This sport is a situational game — a runner in second with nobody out makes all the difference when you bat first.

IMO Not at all. The advantage is for the away team all the way if they score first which is very likely.

Whattalotta. Soto struck Bogie out except that the ump took away two great strikes.

You apparently never took a logic course. You claim the away team is "very likely" to score from 2d, but not the home team even though both teams face the exact same situation.
