If the Yankees score 1 run in every inning and the Sox score 1 every three innings, what will be the final score ?

Because Mazza only gave up 4 runs in 3 innings, RR will probably give him another start. Speaking of RR, he may not be fired by the SOX, because he may quit before then.

Btw, has a manager ever quit?

Conversation of RR resigning:

RR: "I can't watch these games anymore. Between the agony of managing this team and having to wear this mask, it's killing me. Here's my resignation."

Bloom: "Sorry to hear that, but I have already had discussions with Bobby Valentine to replace you. Btw, is Bobby younger than you? I'll

have to check."

So much for the 1 run per inning hope. Mazzara is another piñata.

Can you fit a pig in a pinata. ? I feel a little for Roeneicke for being stuck with these duds, and if you go back to March 1, Bloom thought he had Sale (wihful thinking) and Erod plus Perez and Eovaldi. All he needed was one of his cast-offs to get lucky and he would be ok, not good but ok.

Sale was in denial since the 2018 WS final out. Erod caught the disease and then had complications. Bloom failed to get lucky with any cast-off pickup. Sometimes you get lucky, often you don't.

I know Chavis is still young and this season's results don't matter much, but does anyone see progress in that guy's hitting ? I don't see him making a move towards consistency in pitch to hit selection

That would be a Pigata -- the pork version of the Turducken.

Vegas, you appear to be taking this s*** seriously. C'mon, bring out the comedy. It writes itself.

When an organization gives you a lemon, you make lemonade.

Has Vasquez gone back to the frenetic batting style that so ill-served him throughout his career, until last year, when he adopted the JD style--inhale, exhale, minimal movement--a style that raised his average about 50 points? If I notice this, aren't there RS coaches who could be expected to notice it as well?

Gee, now the thrower is trying to get one of our few keepers killed.

That was a shot to Bogie, but instead of a high pitch voice, he made a high pitched throw to the midget at 1B

Jad, i sometimes wonder if the Red Sox coaches (not just this year) see the same games and plays we do. There are several on these forums that make observations that seem pretty obvious about certain players, but you see the same mistake over and over.

It could be that the coaches have the masks also covering their eyes. One can't be too safe.
