TBD vs Yarbrough

Haven't seen who the Sox plan on starting tonight. They optioned Weber and I guess the guy they call up from the player pool will start. Johnson? Hart? IDK.

Well, they called up Covey, so maybe he's the opener for a bullpen game? Weber would have pitched on Wednesday so maybe they'll have Hart/Johnson/Houck start then?

The Red Sox have yet to announce who will open Monday. The decision will be based on who pitches out of the bullpen Saturday and Sunday.

“That can certainly change on what happens with those games,” Roenicke said. “We know who we want to start Monday. We just may need to use that guy before.”

Brewer and Covey were the only guys not to pitch this weekend.

Reds planning on bringing fans back. Wow.

Cardinals are still 2-3 since they have had to cancel so many games. Bringing back fans is a very Ohio thing to do. If I was an opposing team, I'd forfeit.

According to C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic, the Reds have submitted a plan to the state of Ohio and MLB to have "a percentage" of fans return to Great American Ballpark this season.

Rosecrans reports an email sent to seasonal employees on Sunday night indicates the plan has already been approved by the city of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. He adds a source told him fans likely wouldn't be able to return until September at the earliest or the playoffs should the Reds advance.

@jcmccaffrey

Red Sox gave Perez an extra day rest and he will start Tuesday against the Rays. Godley has the Wednesday start. Brasier is listed as the opener for today's game. Roenicke said Eovaldi will get an extra day this turn through the rotation as well.

That past Rays-Yanks series really pissed me off. Feels weird to root for the Sox but I hope your guys pound em.

Been a busy and crazy week up here in CT. First game I've been able to watch in over a week. Win. Dance. Repeat. x2

Brasier is pitching. An unfortunate game for you to watch. Hopefully they surprise.

I'm just happy to watch a game. We're still recovering from Tropical Storm Isaias. We got our power back Friday, but too many people still don't have power. Also been busy with work

I was one of the last fans to step foot on the grounds of Great American Ball Park when I was there with UConn in November

Pretty decent situational hitting developing a nice lead. Oh you say, Colten Brewer is on next ? Time for some more runs, guys

I think we've finally realized that we're not playing golf and need a higher score than our opponents

It often helps to score more runs. I have found in my life, if the opposing team scores more runs than us we lose 100 percent of those games. The odds just aren’t in our favour for whatever reason when we score less runs.

The higher scoring team is 1,000,000-0 all time in the history of MLB

Kimbrel has given up 7 runs in his last 4 games. Sheeesh. That’s ugly.

Like some current RS performances in this young season and last, could you not see that trend coming in his last year in Boston. So glad to let him gp
