It's not just Beni, (who is now out of the game). Devers, JD, JBJ all are in slumps. Our expected strength at the outset has become a weakness. Good luck fixing it.

Glad I missed the game. Playing a bad team and had two straight wins under our belt. A chance to really find something, and we put out this effort. Just the way this season is going.

I've made many bad choices in my life, but not purchasing Xtra Innings just to watch the SOX and this joke of a season was one of my better decisions. Devers and Beni both may have peaked early in their careers.

Let's not get carried away. Pitching like that would have been good for well over 100 games in a real season. But. you're right--anemic hitting makes the entire effort look worse than it is.
