Game 7 - nats @ astros - 30-oct-2019

Nothing in sports like a Game 7. Especially in the World Series.

Each team has played 162 regular season games.

Nationals have played 1 playin game (WC game) + 15 playoff games. 178 total games

Astros have played 17 playoff games. 179 total games.

and now it comes down to 1 final game. winner takes all, loser is a footnote.

Scherzer vs Greinke

will the road team win again?

can a home team finally win a game this series?

i love tonight. hope to see you all posting in this GT tonight.

i am hoping all 7 games are won by the road team....

I hope it's as fun as last night's game (minus the s***** umpiring).

Regardless of who wins, I hope it's a well-played and close game all the way through.

As Slasher said, there's nothing like a Game 7.

Let's go!

Agreed :)

As long as it is the Nats lol!

Just hoping for a hell of a game to finish a hell of a series.

I am pulling for the Nats, and I have found myself wanting them to win more and more as the series has progressed.

That said, I have nothing against the Astros.

May the best team win.

Agreed, I actually joined the Astros board last yera when we were playing them in the playoffs. They are good folks!

No matter the outcome, I am gonna miss baseball after today

Same! I hate this time of year. I like NFL but it isn’t the same. And NHL in my opinion isn’t even close.

Gutty performance by Scherzer; hurt which has affected his control but still held the Astros to 2 runs through 5. Somewhat Schillingesque ala Game 6 15 years ago.

Like Verlander last night, he’s being outpitched. Greinke has been fantastic (not sure that adjective is adequate).

In 2017, the Stros pick up Verlander at the trading deadline. This year they pick up Greinke. Two highly productive 200 game winners. We pick up Pomeranz, Eovaldi and Cashner. What a difference!

Great outing by Greinke. I hope the regular season idiots on this board who bitch about not being able to light up anyone who doesn’t throw 96+ were watching, but somehow I doubt it.

Great game from Greinke. Hinch might be pulling him early. Soto got some calls there

Definitely got the 2-1 pitch. But the plate ump has been really good; that was only the second obvious pitch he missed all night.
