Twins at Yankees ---- Yankees in 4 games (a lot of dingers in this one, still I believe the Yanks will keep their dominance over the Twinkies)

 

 

Rays at Astros ---- Rays in 5 (this might be more like wishful thinking than anything else, but I have the feeling that the Rays will give them hell)

As much as I want the Rays to win and as plucky as they are, I think the Stros steamroll them. Stros in 3

Astros and Rays go the distance in my opinion with (just a flip of a coin....) Astros winning the series.

 

In the 7 games they have played each other Tampa won 4, however Astros outscored them 42-27. It should be a hell of a series though!

I figure in the cases of the Astros, the Yankees, and the Dodgers, they are heavy favorites. I know that anything can happen in the playoffs, but I think it will be difficult for their opponents to overcome them.

 

In the case of the Braves vs. the Cards, that's more evenly matched, and I probably picked the Braves more out of hoping than anything else.

I generally don't cheer for opposing players, but I do when he pitches (except against us) Guy is truly a legend and fun to watch.
