The most amazing thing, imho, that happened in this game was POR going 6 full innings with a 47 pitch 2nd.

I dunno man.. scoring 19 is pretty epic.

But how Rick pitched six after that 2nd inning I will never know. This was probably the most fun I had watching a ball gMe this year. Lots of laughs..

Most certainly the best game of the year for me to watch.

 

I'm hopeful this will be a spring board for us and the beginning of a rough stretch for the Spankees. We'll see, tomorrow. We have to break the mold of following up big wins with worse losses.

 

JBJ getting hot again would be a big plus. Bogey, Beni, Moreland, Chavis and just about everyone came through, but the performance from Porcello may be the best thing about tonight.
