I live near DC, where they do pretty good fireworks. I read somewhere there will be tanks too--fortunately, just a static display. US Army tankers have an expression: we don't lend nothin, least of all dignity, to anything. We just tear hell out of everything.

I watched the first seven Sox runs and Price get out of the 2d (bases loaded), and then went to bed awhile later. Guys are a-swingin them bats.

Sale tonight. If he goes 6 or more and gives up 2 or less, maybe we can see London as an anomaly--except for the bullpen. Not good last night. I expected Wright to make an immediate difference.

Sale will strike out 18 and be pulled in the 7th.
And the pen will blow the game if we have less than a 5 run lead. It's a strong possibility.

Fire Sale As Sox Unload Ace Along With MVP Betts, LF Benintendi

Fixed for you

Cora is one cynical bastard. How long will he continue to have Beni bat in anything but the 9th slot?

Not only is Benintendi not seeing the ball well, his body language suggests that it's hopeless.

Can possibly pick up another game by beating up the hapless Blue Jays again . Yankees have a tougher one against the Mets .
Never forget what the Mets are. And Vargas is a pig.

Well that’s a tad dramatic.

The Mets have had a lot go wrong this year , but they do have a lot of talent . They are certainly a better team than Toronto. In fact , every team in the N.L. including Miami , is better than Toronto. There is way too much tanking trash in the A.L. these days .

Worst bullpen in baseball--even worse than ours, although I would love to have Diaz. Last season and this season, the team has a disgraceful losing record when deGrom pitches.

I’m torn.

Every time I eat spicy food Sox win. So was thinking about eating spicy noodles tonight.

On the other hand do I really want diarrhea tomorrow? Ugh. Tough call.

I just looked...I usually post both lineups when I post them which is not to suggest somebody else can't do it. But I just looked. Our lineup is up. Same as last night.

Where did you look? I went to MLB and it says to be determined still.

I use baseballpress specifically because I can get both lineups and because they post both the positions played by each player and whether they are (S), (L) or ® handed hitters.

If its not showing for you just search "MLB lineups today". It will surely be on page one of the query response.

Roof open again. Ball really flies to RF with the roof open. Not so much to LF but definitely to RF and RCF.
