LHP Eduardo Rodgriguez (6-4, 5.00) vs RHP Luis Ortiz (0-0, --)

I made a joke earlier about sweeping the Norfolk Tides, and this Ortiz character was just called up from Norfolk. Can't spell Orioles without an L. Win. Dance. Repeat. x3

Should be a productive weekend . The Orioles are the worst team in MLB , and getting worse every day . Sox should sweep and pad their stats while doing it .

As bad as the O's are, in their very recent 3 game series with Houston and Texas they were not swept.

Were those the games Means pitched? He at least gives them a chance on those days.

Looking at the pitching rotation they should sweep this series. Don’t know who will pitch sunday but we have rodriguez and sale in the first two games.

I agree about Means but he did not factor in either of the wins. They lost to Texas 2-1 in the game he started.

If the Red Sox are playing a ballgame today then they might as well win it. Just sayin'.

They better win this. It would be all for nothing beating Texas twice and then lose to Baltimore.

I'm not asking for much here. Just a 10th World Series. No more... no less... I'm not asking for two in one year. Not like I am overreaching here.

Brian Johnson up (may start Sunday); Travis optioned back to Pawtucket.

Sam Travis, the quintessential AAAA'er, who has not shown enough to eventually crack the Red Sox lineup or bench for a season. May or may not be of interest to any other team. Sam may have to make a career decision in a year or two. Won't be the first nor last to almost get there, not unlike a Swihart or Brentz.

I don't think Erod could have centered that slop up any better if he had a laser survey instrument and an adjustable tee stand
