Sure it does. I even commented on it last night. But in the great majority of games this year it hasn’t made much of a difference. And at least twice this season

JBJ didn’t make plays which definitely hurt. He’s still playing because is the best option, but his very weak hitting ain’t helping.

I do think the 108 win season, playoff victories and Ws win , followed by the soft ST work, took away any urgency or high level of motivation from this team. It doesn't matter too much whether they winn again or not except for those looking for contracts. The FO took off the winter and the players are wandering through their first 37 games
