Chavis seems to be fixing the SOX 1st base problems also. Can he play CF?

 

All kidding aside, maybe we have someone else that would be an improvement. Jackie is so down at this point and I feel sorry for him but something needs to be done.

Anyway, the Sox could pick up Buchter from the A's. He looks qualified, making hash out of the end of this inning. Only guy he could fool was Jackie

I liked how Holt and JD would hug and dance after JD hit a homer. I miss that. The homers and the dance.

 

JD be hitting a lot on the ground since his back has acted up. Still a fearsome Dude with a bat in his hand

How much would you pay Mookie? If he doesn't want to sign with the Red Sox, I can see him being traded by Aug.1st if the Sox are out of it. I'd make sure to keep J.D. if that happened, and then get some bullpen help. With Porcello and Fat Panda's money free next year they should be able to spend a little.

Another reason the SOX are off to such a slow start this season as compared to last season. Last season the opponents made many more errors playing the SOX and, like tonight, the SOX seemed to take advantage of each and every one.

When it comes to HP umpires, the reason the league will be going with a robotic system is because seeing eye dogs are too expensive.

 

i thought it was Vaz's framing skills that deceived the umpire. Or was that Leon's skill
