Reverse jinx:

It's 15-0 by the 4th inning and many of the players for Boston are seen with what appears to be sweat..... however upon further look they are actually crying from the severe beating at the hands of the ever so powerful New York Yankees. The sox finally get the offense going and Martinez has a beautiful homerun in the 9th. Sox lose 27-1.

Get your head out of your ass and play some f**king baseball!!!!!!! GET A WIN!!!!!! By any means! Heaven forbid Eovaldi goes 7 shutout innings tonight!

Stat wise we are dead last in the league for starting rotation, and 18th at bats. No win right now is going to be pretty..... So just win any way you can.

It all starts with the pitching, especially the starters. Cora has said that out loud because it's so obvious.

One presumes Cora will go with some righty bats vs. lefty Happ, who was pretty tough against us last year (until the ALCS). One presumes Beni will rest another day, so my guess is JDM will be back in LF, JBJ in CF, and Mookie in RF. I see Devers at 3B (but it could be Nunez), Bogie at SS, Pedey (or Nunez) at 2B. and Pearce and Moreland at 1b and DH or vice versa. Vazquez catching. So, if Devers sits for Nunez (unlikely), we could see as many as 7 right bats.

But, honestly, I believe the winning card is a700hitter transmitting vital bulletins from enemy territory.

Granted it's a bad start to the season, our boys are still breaking records. The starting rotation is off to the worst start in franchise history at an ERA of 7.18. The previous mark was in 1931 at 6.96. So..... we have that.

Game Time: 6:35 pm

Eovaldi vs. Happ

A700Hitter @ the game mojo will be in effect. I will try to give Betts some batting tips before the game.;)

And if it's another ugly one, punch some mouthy Yankee fan for us, please. :)

What is up with these 6:30 start times?

I'm assuming to prevent exposure to the "cold" April nights. It's why the Tigers only play day games at home in April. I'm happy about it though, because it got me out last night by 9, instead of about 10 or 10:30 (or later)

I got part of that right. Just three lefty bats (Nunez is out tonight, as is Beni)--

Betts

Bogie

JDM

Pearce

Moreland

Pedey

Devers

Vazquez

JBJ

I don't see Happ as anything much . Looking for a win tonight .

Happ is all about location. When he’s up and out of the zone with the hard stuff and down in the zone with the slow stuff, he’s baffling. He has the problem of bringing the fastball down and the breaking stuff up as of now

Here goes Nat again. Wild in the strike zone. Meatball to Voit. Meatball to the next batter gets fouled off. Edited by jung

They need to really locate more, expecially a dead red batter like Voit. Throw something offspeed.

Location to Moreland and JD was bad. The HR from Vasquez wasn’t a bad pitch

There isn't really a good away to pitch to RHH at this shitpie hole. You basically at the mercy of having it pull or just flick to RF.
