Maybe a while longer, since it was the most significant social action ever taken by MLB. Many of us are old enough to have followed that segregated team, and I don't mind being reminded what I blinded myself to as a kid.

Maybe they ought to do a "16" in honor of A. Lincoln, and then something for the Dominicans who out number the American blacks who don't play much baseball anymore.

We have 3 LH Starters. If they keep throwing crap Changeups like this to RH hitters...forget it. They will be lucky to win 90. Heck they might be lucky to win 90 anyway.

I failed to mention in this post the sterling performances of our two RH starters who also suck ass and don't appear to have a clue to this point in the season.

Thought it would be foul. Thought it would be caught. Thought it was a HR. I am getting sick of this s*** too. Run for God sake.

Its not like they did anything to get tired during ST.

The Dodgers and Walter O’Malley integrated MLB a year before President Truman integrated the armed services. So it was historically significant even though MLB itself normally isn’t. Jackie Robinson himself was an officer in that segregated Army and was court-martialed (but acquitted) because he refused to sit at the back of a bus on Fort Hood, TX.

Paxton is showing what he’s capable of. He definitely was tipping pitches

Give me a break. He ran into an inept sox lineup, nothing more.

......and Sales night is done.

4 runs, 5 IP.....no difference.

One big difference--several 97-98 mph pitches.

If it wasn't for owners like Tom Yawkey, integration in baseball never would have happened.
