We suck in the field. Our highlight reel is Vaz throwing the ball. The rest of them suck ass so far.

Sure is.

And next month is May, followed by June, July, August, September. Why can't anyone acknowledge that this young guy is in the midst of a significant slump from the '18 playoffs, through the "doesn't matter" ST, followed by the first 16 of this season ? Betts can't carry JDM's batting gloves.

Mookie is slumping, and I know it’s surprising, but he’s slumped before. He’ll also get hot, and overall finish the season as one of the best players in baseball, like he always does.

We have very few guys with the maturity to carry around all their new hardware. I honestly thought the everyday players would come around sooner than the Starters. It now looks more like nip and tuck.

Let’s score some runs here. This guy is hittable

It’s like this offense goes to sleep when we get solid pitching. Just can’t seem to put all aspects of the game together.

not only that, but defensively they’re trying to make Prices job hard as possible

Wishing him well for the team's sake and look forward to his rebound. Right now, he needs to figure it out on offense and defense.

After an 11 year hiatus from Major Championship victory and a two year hiatus from the game itself Tiger Woods wins the Masters to complete one of the great sports comebacks of all time at 43 years old no less.

The only athletes that should ever bet on themselves are Tom Brady and Mike Trout. Mookie should have taken the money and run. Instead he put more pressure on himself that he cannot handle.

Amazing. He's a Legend.

Early days.

Beni's x-rays negative, which helps, but I still think that kind of foot contusion will cost him time. Now Swihart's covering left, which really makes me wonder about Bradley. I would have expected JDM to go to left JBJr to center and Mookie to RF. I'm sure I'm missing something. Recall that it is a short bench with Holt out, and 13 pitchers

Bradley's sick.

Benintendi's news is good news. That's best case scenario so i'll take it.

David Price carrying the load in a big way today . Tough when you have to throw shutouts to win.

It’s a lot of pressure on the pitching. I hate that this offense gets it going when the pitching is bad. But when it’s fsntastic we can’t buy a run. We can kick it up another gear when our backs are against the wall. Wish we could do that all the time.

Back to Betts: Hint--trying to pull outside pitches will not restore you to MVP status. I agree with Rico--this one is in his head as he tries to do too much to justify the plaudits

You guys are right. Mookie Betts clearly cant handle pressure. He needs to take advice from TalkSox posters and just accept the Red Sox offers.
