AT&T is super duper overrated.

33% of the seats at Fenway are absolute trash. The majority of the other seats are small and uncomfortable. I'll always be a proponent of building a new stadium.

I get why many die hards want to keep fenway, as I was torn when they decided to take down the old Yankee Stadium.

On one hand you have all the tradition, but with poor seating, insufficient restrooms, etc.

On the other hand we now have a very nice updated stadium, smaller lines for both concessions and bathrooms, pretty awesome museum but it has lost much of it's charm and feels sterile.

Maybe they should tear down and rebuild the stands.

I'm not opposed to this. They need all new seats throughout the stadium too.

How many have you guys and girls attended?

Agree, it is uncomfortable as hell but somehow the atmosphere and vibes are not like any park or stadium I’ve been.

Call me romantic all you want, but when you step in, it transports you to the beginning of the XX century.

Let me put it this way, If baseball had a smell, it would smell like Fenway park.

The only one trolling here is you, as usual.

I posted a baseball related topic for debate in the general baseball category.

You, on the other hand, decided to troll. No surprise there..........

strange how every single thread you start with a link is a negative shot at Boston Red Sox.

perhaps it's just coincidence and not trolling at all?

Like JH said to Billy Beane in the moneyball movie when both arrived to Fenway park “... with all due respect to Oakland, but this is a ballpark” LOL!

Jesus christ, get over it already. Your need to jump in with this crap every time he posts something is 1000 times more annoying than anything he does.

That’s the problem, not sure if the seats can be fixed. If you want more space between them, they probably would lose a lot of seats which represent $. Not sure what could be the solution.

I appreciate Fenway's glory, maybe because I don't go nearly often enough. If I were to become a season ticket holder, which I would contemplate if I moved to the Boston area as I might want to do after college, I feel like Fenway might lose its charm to me after 81 games every year.

I agree that this would be nice, but Fenway already has the least amount of available seating of any stadium. Making the seats larger would decrease it even more.

That's a valid point.

They would lose too much revenue.

I get that. It's why I'm a proponent of a new stadium. It's great for nostalgia, but physically being there is an uncomfortable and frustrating experience.

My friend got a 20 pack of tickets this year. He said it was the perfect amount. Not too expensive. Just enough games where you aren't overdoing it.

If they could magically make the poles go away in the infield grandstands, that would be nice.

Yeah, nothing worse than paying to go to a game and have an obstructed view.

I was surprised at how they rated the marlins park.

The park itself is nice, aside from the colors (it looks like the Easter Bunny puked). They do have a cool bobble head display that includes players from every team. Food is pretty good, great view of the miami skyline beyond the Budweiser Bowtie Bar in CF. Thankfully Jeter is finally getting his way and they are removing that hideous HR sculpture. It will now be outside the stadium and that area is being converted to a multi level kid friendly area from what I have read.

The biggest drawback is the parking situation. If you park in one of the two parking garages you could be there for hours trying to get out. The other choice is to find a spot on one of the side streets. Many people in the area let people park on their property. The price will vary depending on who is playing. For most teams you are looking at $5-10, but they gouge when a team like the Yanks are in town $20-40.

Wrigley was cool as an atmosphere, and It was a Ball Park I always wanted to attend, but the seats are pretty uncomfortable and the "obstructed views" are absurdly annoying. I think if you are a true baseball fan, the park is a must attend at least once, the atmosphere inside and around the park is awesome, very similar to Fenway.

Fenway, as a Sox fan I like it, but the seats do suck, and again, like Wrigley, obstructed view seats are annoying.

I somewhat disagree about Camden yards though, I've attended games there more than any other park and I really like the place. Now around the stadium is a s***-hole and Baltimore needs to fix the crime and corruptness of the city, but inside the stadium itself is beautiful, nice seating, pretty good food, they let you bring food and drinks inside the stadium (even alcohol as long as it is sealed and not glass) and the staff have been pretty cool to me. I got free tickets in the upper deck at a game this season from a friend, and when I went to sit in my seat, the usher was like "you know what? there is no one here, why don't you guys just sit down the first base line, you'll enjoy it more, and radioed down and let us have awesome seats. My only bad experience there was the riot game a few years ago, and to be fair that was a REALLY bad experience. So inside the stadium - great, around the stadium - bad.

Only other parks I've been to I didn't see on the List (Phillies and Nationals).

I agree with you on both parks.

I liked Camden very much, been there a few times. First time was in 1996 watching the Yanks win the pennant there. Actually got interviewed by the local radio station, WBAL.

I also liked the Rangers ballpark, designed by the same guy that did Camden. Had to walk pretty far from where we parked, but over all a pretty good park.
