Do we have somebody sitting? Why is JBJ hitting 6th?

 

The bottom of the order is kind of underwhelming with Nunez, Devers and Swihart. We need the top of the order to be killers but Mookie has been a little off as has been Moreland. It would be great if we had one more reliable bat in the lineup and maybe Devers can get it going again soon.

Great first 3 innings by Pom, much better than I expected. Just 2 runs, a minor miracle. I kind of think of that as a Pom quality start.

 

It's hard to judge against a line-up like the O's. But except for that hanger, he's been better than expected.

He is headed to the Astros according to most reports. The Yankees badly need probably TWO, not one, SP. Aside from Severino and the Butterball, no one is performing.

Tanaka is pretty good too. Gray has had two good starts in a row. We need a fifth guy if we aren’t gonna bring up Sheff. But our bullpen just got a lot better

Betts bombs Ramirez and in a short while the Sox can be in position for a win. Need 3 outs to make it legal, then let it raain

First of all, your bullpen hasn't changed. Unless I am missing a trade that has been finalized. Second, Tanaka's ERA coming into this game is over 4.50. If thats "pretty good" then hopefully by the end of the year Severino will have been "pretty good" too. And I think its wonderful that Gray has had two good starts. I guess the rest of his horror shows don't count, right?

Oh...and in case you haven't checked today's stats, the Yankees rank SEVENTH in SP ERA in the league. If you are happy with that I am too.
