Oh good...lets have JD run into the LF grandstand wall of death out there to make it a perfect day. That is where swi should be. I would sacrifice him in an instant.

Geez we are not going to leave Kelly in to try for the reverse cycle. Heck the Jays don't have a HR off him yet today.

He likely would've had to use Kelly no matter what, either this inning, or in the 8th. I blame Kelly for s***ing the bed more than Cora using him. This pen is weak and doesn't have many options.

Now barnes’s coming in? Maybe he should have started the inning Cora.

 

Now we are behind. Kelly left a mess. He is off his game for sure. Maybe the AS break will help.

This is just so good. Swi kills our starter who was just cruising and the pen chokes it up. Just perfect.

 

Well we can always wait for JBJ to remember he is supposed to go oppo or hope Lin gets another hit today or the usual Mookie/JD/XB bail us out crew.

I blame Swihart for killing ERod in the 6th inning of his best pitched game of the year.

Who was that 39 year old reliever we had last season... he did amazingly well and was so consistent, although was rarely used in real pressure situations, unless necessary, and it often was. It seems that he came out of nowhere and then vanished. What to hell was his name. I like to watch him pitch. He seemed so solid.. like a hitter with a powerful short stroke.

Yeah, that was brutal. As is the offense, especially Holt between Mookie/JD today. I hate Holt hitting 2nd. I'd rather Xander be there.. Also, is Moreland hurt? Why such a weak lineup today? I know Beni/Devers are out, but why do we need Swihart at 1B?

Last year? I don't remember any relievers we had last year who are no longer on the team besides Addison Reed, Abad, and Blaine Boyer. Neither of which are 39.
