I understand not giving Haniger nor Cruz something to hit, so the knuckle curve slops around the plate. Once he starts throwing fastballs, Kimbrel gets it done. Glad for Price to get the win. Vazquez is a hack.

I will second this. The offense as of late has been struggling no doubt but all teams go through this. Dodgers just as of late are getting things going but their offense was horrible to start the season. With pitching like this from our rotation we are getting a chance to win every game.

This team has 48 wins with 92 games left. 52-40 the rest of the way would mean 100 wins. 100-62. All this team has done the last couple of years is win games but not the ones in October. Just enjoy the ride. Still want to win this division

It's funny in a way. Yes, the SOX offense has struggled in some games, but sometimes one has to tip his/her cap to the opposing pitcher(s). Like tonight, Price and the BP held the M's to one run, but no one here posted that the M's offense sucks.

Had to go to bed after the first 2-3 innings, but must say I don't how anyone could complain about any aspect of last night's game. Hernandez still has a bewildering array of breaking stuff and excellent control.

 

2-1 was just a super win over him and especially nice with the defense and the rbi's by Bogie and Devers.

 

Four straight road wins and still neck and neck with the Yankees--and 3 more wins than the rest of MLB--what's not to like?
