Their at-bats are such give away. Even if you make an out, put up a good AB and hit the ball hard. They can't do either of that.

4 very nice outs by Kelly and before him 20 very nice outs by Wright. Plus pretty good defense. The perfect game in which to have both. The offense has done zilch, but this game is still very winnable.

It was still a mistake to play Nunez over Holt v a RHP no matter what Betts and JDM did tonight, no matter how many runs we didn't score. Your manager has to put his team in the best possible position to win games. I don't think he did that tonight.
