Why wasn't JBJ made to take the 3-1. It is impossible he would hit. This guy must be hard to coach as other have said.

JBJ has gone back to the high leg kick, which seemed to work for a while, then led to a series of Ks, mostly on belt-high fastballs. Not sure why the adjustment he made last week (that odd looking toe tap), where he began to make contact, was scrapped.

 

JBJ probably thought he was losing power w/o the leg kick.

It is truly amazing that JBJ apparently can't even get back to JBJ awful at this point. There does not look like there is an end in sight this time. Pretty sure that the only way he will hit anything at this point is if he runs into it...maybe with his nose!

Can someone tell me what Swihart’s eventual role will be on this team .... even next season? He is not going to be the starting catcher. Vasquez is much better defensively, and Swihart is not doing anyywith the bat to make his case. He can’t play another position or hit well enough to justify giving him another position.
