Our record doesn't indicate it but we are a .500 team.

My physical appearance doesn't indicate it, but I am the most improbably handsome man on planet Earth.

My education doesn't indicate it, but I am a world-renowned mycologist.

The darkness in the sky doesn't indicate it, but it is daylight outside right now.

All of these things make as much sense as what you said. The Sox's record is the only thing that says whether they are a .500 team or not, and they are further from being a .500 team that literally every other team in Major League baseball.

I think we just played a bunch of mediocre teams and were just playing over our heads early in the season. We're now seeing what this team truly is, a .500 team. Sale is our only consistent starter. We have a black hole at the bottom of the lineup, we are awful at baserunning. On paper we look good but reality is that we're a .500 team.

If JBJ gives us another AB like the last one sandwiched around that throw I think we can officially say that his traditional stubbornness about his swing has set in. That was not even an effort in his first AB and overthrowing the cutoff man is a cardinal sin for an OF of his caliber. Something is going on with him I fear. They tried to help him...maybe did not realize how delicate the situation is with him and he may be reacting badly.

We are seeing the real Pom tonight. I don't care what he did last year. He is still a putz because he has just 2 pitches, one an inocuous fast ball, and not all that great command of his pitches. He does have a changeup, but absolutely will not use it.

Losing to this s***** team. Pomeranz can’t get anybody out this year. Dipped velocity

Hos location is either middle middle or well out of the k zone. Just horrible.

Hope Poms can put a full game together tonight. Lets get a nice streak going!!

His luck lasted 2 innings more than I thought it would!

I'm sure it has nothing to do with what's being called .....I mean this catcher is stellar .

Are you serious? What's to call? He has just two pitches and not much command. His fastball is very hittable, but that knuckle curve is to when he leaves it up in the zone.

He walked the first batter of the game on four pitches, and you want to blame that on what Vazquez called?

I am still not convinced they are doing the right thing with Pom. Took Eck getting in the booth to say the same thing we have been saying for three starts. Pom is afraid to throw that four seam for a strike and you just cannot pitch that way, not for long.

At least to my eyes his FB has not gotten worse. It appears to have finally bottomed out.

He should be out of this rotation for the time being.

I really wonder if he likes playing baseball; not all players do.

It may be something he has done because he's been good at it (relatively speaking to the rest of us mortals)

Pom has had nothing. he should have walked Machado the last 2 times. The guy has been destroying him. He should have taken the bat out of his hands.

so what do we do? Pomeranz sucks, Price sucks, Erod is inconsistent. Porcello, I don't trust. WTH do we do?

I would give Velasquez a chance and put Pomeranz in the pen
