FWIW: Seattle's average annual precipitation (37.49 inches) falls short of Boston's average annual precipitation (43.76 inches).

During the baseball season* Boston averages more than twice the precipitation that Seattle receives.

* from April through September Boston averages 21.11 inches of precipitation while Seattle averages 9.11 inches of precipitation

I don't feel like doing the research, if you want to though; I'd be willing to bet that though Boston's average precipitation is higher by volume, Seattle's is higher by number of rainy days. 20 days of downpours will equal more actual rain than 100 days of steady drizzles and misting.

So again ... Dom looks pretty f***ing good!

Huge sigh of relief!!!!!

Gotta say, I'm FULLY EXPECTING a s*** show tomorrow night with Price!

We GOTTA steal this game with Pom! He's pitched damn well!!!!

You're not going to see Price tomorrow night. He's got that "tingling" in his fingers again.

It's typical Pom - in and out of trouble. This guy handles stress better than anyone I've ever seen.

Bill Lee was pretty good at it. I remember a few complete games with double digit hits and a couple walks.

Price has been scratched; the numbness returned and he’s back in Boston. Porcello goes tomorrow and ERod on Thursday.

Big surprise there. Wish this guy was out of here but not with that contract unfortunately.

Bogeys bat has gone cold.

4 for his last 28 ......

makes sense to have a red hot hitter (moreland) on the bench and start ice cold guys like hanley, jbj, Vazquez, xander, nunez and devers

Baseball needs more players like Bill Lee. He was "colorful".

One of my favorite memories of Lee was when I was at a game he was pitching and I was sitting a couple of rows back of the Sox dugout.

Lee gave up a HR in one inning and when he came back to the dugout he threw his glove and said, "Every time I throw that f***ing pitch some ********** hits out out of here!" LOL

I'm not ...

Can we ease up on the kid!

He's clearly just a bit of a hot head kid.

Does it really hurt anybody to have the f***ing kid lose his s*** in or after a game?

Who the f*** cares? It's all good. BORING is everyone agreeing, or having calm personalities . . . .

Who gives a s*** if the kid loses his s***. Just enjoy your game! REMEMBER .... YOU are 40+ , not him.

I'm not losing my s***, I don't care what people do, I literally stick things up my butt from time to time, during wins and losses. people can react to whatever, however they want, as long as it isn't racist and doesn't involve comments about sexualy abusing children, those are the lines.

Sounds like a set-up for the Graucho Marx quip “Does it hurt when you do that? Then don’t do that.”
