Things go poorly for Sale so seldom that he does not seem to have a process for cooling off and getting back to business. Last year if things went down hill it usually turned into OH MY GOD before it was over.

Benny should be benched ...he's an idiot

After the DAILY f***fest on the basepaths last year? YES! IT'S WAY PAST TIME to start benching guys for this ********!

No more of these lame, "well...,. Guys are being encouraged to be aggressive.

NO! WE are not encouraging them to have their heads up their arsses!

Sale's problem is obvious. he has a changeup, but doesn't trust it. Plus tonight he is also making mistakes--fat pitches--and the Jays are capitalizing.

Good observation.

I've been hearing that the low attendance there is due in part to the violence in the city during the past year. People are afraid to go there.
The violence spilled over to the inner harbor area. Fans were trapped in the ballpark and it was very scary getting back to hotels. Red Sox fans (me included) used to fill that place, but no more.

Oh yeah, it's bad, they find dead bodies in the inner harbor somewhat often, and its disturbing. I live in Maryland and very rarely venture into Baltimore. I was at the riot game a few years ago and that was one of the most absurd, scary situations I've ever been in, there was so much crazy s*** going on.

Or how about a clubhouse session to go over proper base running. Do managers quiz players anymore with hypothetical situations?

Yeah it’s in Baltimore. The attendance at Camden Yards has been atrocious this year. Baltimore is a s*** hole and the team sucks

Wow.

I would still like to go there to see a game. Everyone I know who has been there says that stadium is the balls.

Besides, I like Soft Shell Crabs!

I can taste the Lump Crab as we speak!

Sorry about yelling, but this s*** needs to stop. These guys aren't kids. They've been playing the game for 15 - 20 years. I've demanded more discipline on the basepaths from my high Scholls kids!

Yup. A lot of Sox fans from Boston that night were terrified, half of them didn't even know what to do, because the fans were not kept in the loop well at all, and the out of towners had no idea what to do. Nobody even cared who won that game, it was horrible situation that the security at the stadium and outside the stadium handled horribly, they had no answers to any questions.

The combo of Baltimore being such a s***** place and the Orioles sucking is killing their attendance.

All that "THIS IS WAR" stuff is great except if Sale were actually in a real war he sort of can't let his emotions run away or they are scraping him up off the ground and returning him home in a ziplock bag......quart size.

I remember someone here posting about it. Was it you who gave a ride to a tourist Red Sox fan to get him to his hotel? And you saw turned over burning cars etc.? I hear that the mayor wants businesses to self impose 9 pm curfews.

I'm confused! I was there last year, and it was beautiful?

Was this a random thing?

I understand Baltimore Proper has PROBLEMS, but I thought the ballpark was fantastic !?

Hey-- I still don't get it! And you're not allowed to "lol" your own joke.

Sorry...I should have explained. I was commenting on Beni's outstanding field awareness on the base paths.

Devers has been swinging at everything under the sun and he's been missing damn near everything he's been swinging at. This kid needs to relax and quit forcing things to happen. Take what the pitcher gives you.
