I did listen to WEEI on my car sound system which picked up the feed from my cell. Those WEEI announcers seemed to me to be more interested in talking about April 14, 1967 than about this game. They also don't routinely give the listener the game situation. And they barely said a peep about Velazquez.

Velasquez did an excellent job. By the reactions of the hitters, he had their timing off and they couldn’t square him up. Not at all a hard thrower. Did announcers say that his delivery is deceptive... because he got the 90 fastball by a number of guys.

Bright side of Betts injury - good to see Swihart get some AB's, and nice to see him use the monster.

I thought Walden was a dud. Seriously. But he looked awfully good in that one inning, especially with the last batter/out.

JB can't watch here in Wakeforest Nc what was his at bats like bud ??? So bummed can't see it .

 

He went opposite field off the monster as LHH, then turned around right handed against a LHP and fault off a tough pitch for an RBI single into center. He looked good.

Every slot, but 5 (Devers) and 7 (Leon) got on base 2 or more times.

I wouldn't know of course, but I (I mean others) have been using not that site, but sites similar to it for years with no adverse effects (other than occasional irritation about having to refuse to download any of the things offered me, I mean them).

I've used Reddit all year to watch NFL/NBA/MLB games and have no issues. I obviously have a secure computer, and ad blocker and everything, but still, no issues.
