Dumb f*** Boone not pinch hitting for Bird there might cost us the game. It’s an easy call

Boone looking at Biddle's crazy reverse splits, or trying to show some confidence in Bird?

I think you might actually be the biggest manager-basher here, and that's saying something on a Red Sox board LOL

To be fair, Boone is a doofus.

Greg Bird had a .083BA vs lefties this season. He can manage vs lefties when he is right, but he is still feeling his way back. We had Drury on the bench and he kills lefties. We only needed a flyball to win the game

Yankees had tons of chances to win that game. 0-12 with RISP. Even if they go 2-12 which is s***, they win. Likely game winning double bouncing into the stands just tells me that it wasn't our night.

Come on. If you're using 2018 tiny samples, Drury was .143 vs. lefties. And he doesn't 'kill lefties'. For his career he is .773 while Bird is .793, so Bird must really kill them. You don't have much of a case.

So Boone burns the best part of his pen in a blowout because they were rested. Now he cannot use them in a game we should win because he did so. WTF? Shreve might end up deciding this game and that's not good for us

Won three straight series after the dump in the Trop. Tanaka had a clean rehab outing and is now set to start the first half of the DHer vs the O’s on Monday. Loaisiga is likely to start the second game but until we get a replacement, we’re staring at a rotation with German in it.

It is time for Cashman to stop playing 40 man roster shuffle and start putting the best players on the field. Our best pitching prospect is lighting it up in AAA. His last 5 starts he has thrown to this line. 30.1IP 23H 6ER 10BB 30K for a 1.78ERA 1.09WHIP and 9K/9IP. His stat line for AAA is just as solid overall at 2.61ERA, 1.16WHIP, 8.5K/9IP and 3.8BB/9IP. It is time for him to be in our rotation.

Don't know what to think of Gray. Guy has a ton of talent but those were 2 of the worst starts I've seen in a long time. I mean he had nothing. Everything getting hammered as if they brought someone in from the stands to pitch. How long do the Yankees continue to start him in the hope that he'll rebound and when is the point where they say enough is enough?

It's tough to just give up on a guy you've invested a lot in. I think he gets one more start and if it's another bad one, it'll be the phantom DL with a strained lower back muscle or something.

Sevy was not sharp but was good enough to win. The offense was relentless. The pen was solid enough. Chapman went down with a knee injury. Looks to just be tendinitis. Will probably have a couple days off

I see Stanton and Judge not in HR Derby, smart move. They ought to stop that stupid thing. Or just bring in the guys who can only swing for HRS, and don't care about average. It affected Sano too last year. Edited by OH FOY!

I do not want to see Mookie or JD involved in this stupidity.

I do find it somewhat entertaining. I just don't want Sox players involved in it. No need for them to do so.

I'm generally not one to criticize managers since I feel players determine 98% of every game. But Boone really flubbed this one. Lucky for him and Neil Walker there's another game in an hour. They can't possibly lose 2 games to Baltimore.. I hope.
