I like your tweak. There is no way we are in on him, mostly because we cannot relegate Sanchez to DH right now. We need DH free for the rotating 4th OFer. Unless we dealt an OFer to get it done, but that would cause the Marlins to eat money, which I don't expect them to do

You did see him in the playoffs, right? He was an offensive force in September and October. You don't move on from lefty power and good defense at 1b unless you have a better option. I understand that Sanchez is staring long term DH in the face if he doesn't do something about his passed ball issues. But he wont be the long term DH this yr for sure

That first half of September was still brutal. Every player gets hot from time to time. He has to stay on the field and show that he can produce day in and day out. As I said before, he's a question mark.
