Reed and Kimbrel in the pen tonight. I guess that he will try to get one more inning from Fister.

He better... and if you rush me, two. He looks like an ace LOL!

Pedroia is Johnny on the spot. I would send Fister out for one more inning and the hand it to Kimbrel.

I would bring out the pen. We will see

Defense pretty darn good tonight, especially Pedey at 2b and, surprising to me, Holt in LF. Betts made a nice grab in RF. Nunez flawless at SS. Devers solid on that throw to beat Gardner going to 1b. What am I forgetting?

Fister has just been dominant

Seems like he still has a lot of gas in that tank. I say, let him pitch the 8th!

Ump starting to squeeze the one a bit.

The ump is actually on contract with the Yankees. I think he gets paid by the calls, not by the game result.

If you are addicted to watching Red Sox baseball games and want badly to quit, this game is the wrong one to watch.
LOL!! I never want to quit. I just enjoy the addiction. Too bad for my wife.

Would be a lovely bounce back by this team if they win. They will have pom and sale coming up. Would love to win tomorrow against Tanaka.

Fister and Reed have both gotten past their initial poor outings in coming to the Sox.

Fister is better at getting guys out quickly than any other starter on the staff. Tonight he threw around 30 pitches in the first inning, and only about 65 through the next 6 scoreless innings. What a find, and Sox management was so right in saying that he would turn the corner and become exactly what they hoped for.

Fister is a great surprise lately. If he continuous like this, give him the ball against Cleveland in the first game.

Nice to see the Sox turn the tables on the Yankess and do it with excellent pitching, timely hitting and good defense. Having Bogaerts getting some rest was the thing to do. Nunez delivered and now tomorrow we get JBJ back so Bogey should sit out again. His problems appear to be mental rather than physical so some time off to gain perspective should help.

Well said and totally agree.
