Whoops. There goes worthless Holt with an rbi and an insurance run off a double. Plus he scored the second run of the game. Why does Farrell even let him on the field, let alone start a game? Oh, I remember. They want to give him enough rope to prove he's a candidate for DFA, which makes perfect sense in the middle of August in a tough pennant race.

Gomes is getting a lot better.

Which Gomes is this you're taking about? The catcher or the broadcaster? The catcher is helping us!

Did you line up in you fantasy team?

I didn't do a daily lineup today (I had him in my daily lineup yesterday, along with Gary Sanchez and Healy), but I started him in my season long league and am enjoying the contribution. He's been really underrated in fantasy this year, especially with his steals and position eligibility.

I don't like bringing in Kimbrel here. Its a 5 run lead.. Come on now.

JF saved him in Monday's close game, just so he could get this opportunity.

(LOL- just had to get a JF jab in.)

Good strategy. He is a most this year, no matter what.
