Here's the deal with the sox. Let's say NY wins the division. I don't think that happens, but let's say they do. The sox have the trump card that no other wild card team has, Chris Sale. If you guys get the WC and can line Sale up for the play in game, you're moving on to the ALDS.

87 win pace. When you've had 2 projected rotation spots being taken over by AAAA guys, that's not horrendous.

I saw a lot of pretty weak contact on the part of Chicago hitters. He made a bad pitch to Abreu at a bad time. Other than that he was decent. Shelled is not an adjective I would use.

Anyone of you see the show "The Bronx is Burning"? Incredible show.

 

I know it wasn't totally real, and more dramatized. But what I always thought was interesting is in how they made Martin so calm about the position the team was in when they were far behind around half way in the season. And how he knew he could get more out of the team and how the team would respond and come out on top. He wasn't even converned half way through the season......... because he knew that when the team finally responded they would win.

 

I wonder what is going on in Farrells head right now?
