They need to get a true DH. Hanley is too inconsistent to be a DH. It was fine when he was playing in the field. But, when your a DH, you need to be more consistent. It's just a wasted spot in the middle of the lineup right now.

This team is infuriatingly frustrating. They cannot get any kind of a streak or good run going. Just when you think they might (winning 2 in St. Louis), they go right back into a rut.

 

A couple of stats I read this morning:

 

Since a 4 game win streak in mid April, the team has gone 12-15 and has not won or lost more than 2 in a row.

 

The Sox have a +4 run differential - the very definition of mediocre.

 

I don't care what anyone says, they really should be a lot better than what they're playing.

There are some hitter(s) from other teams with more HRs than the Sox starting infield on any given night. That's all you need to know why this team is unable to string any wins together.
