Edit: Also, the fat slob thing was meant as insult to his appearance and performance. It was not an attack on his character. Every insult is not an attack on character. The fact that I think you are too stupid to make that distinction is an insult not an attack on your character. I hope that finally clears things up for you.

I predict Beni will be a star

 

From what I gather many think Benintendi is more of a low ceiling very high floor type of player.....except his ceiling really isn't that low. He might not be the next Mookie Betts but I think he has a really good chance of being very close to that good.

 

Remember when we just HAD to draft an outfielder in 2013, but 2/3 of our current star studded outfield was already in the system in Benintendi/JBJ/Betts.

Hos floor is pretty low, as he isn't Bradley or Betts defensively. I think he'll be a good player and the biggest question id "when"? Will he be one right away? Or need some time?

I know many stupid people with very high character. I am not sure if you are among them. Character refers especially to a person's moral qualities, ethical standards, principles, etc. If I called them stupid, that would be insulting but not an attack on their character. If I said that someone had no taste in clothes, was a bad singer, was bad at math etc. those would be insults, but none would be an attack on their character. It is amazing that you can't understand the difference, which is probably explains why you can't understand that I was going for sarcasm when I explained and clarified my intent in earlier posts.

 

Now, buzz off and go be miserable in your projecting/predicting bad fan reaction to Benintendi slumps.You are wasting my time.

I don't think we will see many prolonged slumps from him. I think we will see an increase in XBH's from him too.

I'd love to see a high OBP with lower power, if that's what it takes.

 

If he can earn the leadoff slot, it would lengthen our line-up and help fill the massive gap Papi left when retiring.

Agreed. I don't see any prolonged slumps from Beni. I can certainly see him adjusting and maybe go into a mini slump of sorts, but I believe hes just too good of a hitter and has the mental makeup to avoid a long slump.

When I watch him, he just lookes more polished than a lot of players his age. His defense is also better than some think here. I could see a GG or two in his career.

I totally agree, and I do think he will have a rough patch or two at the plate next year, but overall, I think his numbers will be fine. I'm worried more about the little injuries.
