Was just checking in on Steven Wrights contract.

What does this mean? Is he only signed for this year?

2016 Contract Status: Signed thru 2016, 1 yr/$515k (16) (details) [*]

Service Time (01/2016): 1.089, Arb Eligible: 2018, Free Agent: 2021 [*],

He's under cost-control until 2021. i.e. If he keeps this level, we will have an ace for a while. :)

I'll be bringing my at the game mojo.

The ball park seems full and with great environment compadre. I bet you are having a great time mostly because we are winning. Enjoy!

Yeah! I bet he looks like older than me LOL!

As absolutely crazy as this sounds, would anyone not choose Wright to be our first starter if we were going into the playoffs? (I know things may change, I'm talking right now)

I'd be fine with Price or Wright.

Nice job by Kimbrel to slam the door shut. Need a good performance from E-Rod tomorrow to take this series. I f***ing hate the Orioles.

I just can't stand showalter lol. Love to watch him lose.

If you had to make the call.... which one?

At the moment Wright has been arguably the best pitcher in the AL, so I would go with him right now, but this could definitely change and I honestly wouldn't argue against going with Price, he has the post-season experience and is guy being paid to be the Ace.

I hate him and I hate the fans. I live in Maryland and have to hear so much s*** from fans of this team who didn't watch baseball from 2001-2010.

I hear you. I might hate this team more then the yankees and that's saying something lol. Hope ERod pitches well tomorrow. He needs a good start.

I legit hate the Orioles more then the Yankees right now, especially considering the Orioles are good, and Yankees suck. I know its hard to say/believe but that's how I really feel lol.

I'm with you..... you'd have to go with Wright right now. I think I needed confirmation that I wasn't crazy....

Nice win. I was here for Hanley's last tape measure home run. Do we know how long tonight's blast went. That disappeared from the ballpark in a flash. My at the game mojo is still intact. I will be at next Wednesday's game against the ChiSox, so Iortiz, you will need to factor that into your algorithm. ;)

3 runs? Wright was off his game today! I had my 15-minute break today, went outside to check the score on the radio and turned it on literally in the middle of Castiglione's call for Hanley's HR. Great timing! I'm so sick of losing to this team of *******s and their ******* manager, and listening to s*** from their ******* fans. Nice to see a win, and nice to see Wright still chugging along as the quietest sub-3 ERA guy in the history of baseball.

Ever since game 162 of 2011, the O's have been a bigger rivalry to me than the Yanks.

I feel the same way, and I have been to Camden Yards, an excellent ballpark, several times.

A good win, but one that bugs me. We had them 6-0 and they came back. I would have vastly preferred that the Sox score the final 4 runs of the game. Tazawa was way too hittable, which I think happens when his forkball isn't working.

How long did Hanley's home run go?

393 feet officially. Not a real moon shot. His previous home run on May 10 went 460 feet.
