This! Price has been inconsistent but maybe a strong game like this against a good team is what he needs to get it going!

Dead on! Some of my favorite moments of past teams was when they would intentionally walk Ortiz only to have Manny hit the go-ahead homerun. So sweet. Such fun teams.

 

How about in the playoffs when they intentionally walked Nomar and O'Leary followed it with a homer. Twice in the same game, one a GS. One of my favorite playoff moments.

2 games in a row he has looked like an Ace. perhaps he has turned the corner this season. wright is still pitching great and if Porcello's latest start was an outlier than we have 3 pretty decent shots to get a W everytime through.....

Wow, I've watched a total of 0 innings this week. I see Price pitched well, and it was good to see against KC, albeit their offense is much different than last year. I'm curious to see if the return home will heat up the bats again. I want to see us put together another 1 loss (or fewer) home stand. It's definitely doable, with Cleveland and Colorado, and the weather finally consistently beautiful.

Just a small announcement. I've banned redsoxdirtdog. I'm only explaining this because I did not want to give anyone the wrong idea. I did not ban him for making political comments, I didn't even ban him for continuing to be obnoxious after I asked him to stop posting political comments. I banned him because after I made the position clear and locked the thread, he proceeded to PM me and continue with similar comments, and got a little more vulgar about me personally. Anyways, I generally do not announce this sort of thing, but for the benefit of our new members and even for the benefit of our older members, I did not want anyone to think I was abusing my position by banning someone just because I didn't like them.

 

Anyone who gives you s***, particularly when you are correct about something, is a knob and deserves to be banned.
