Because Mookie, like Xander, have little to no holes in their swing...they both cover the outside part of the plate and can clear out an inside fb as well...its hard to get guys loke these two out...so much talent.

 

That makes sense. You wonder when opposing pitchers are going to start "pitching around" those two in big spots. I guess it's kind of hard to do when virtually the entire lineup is hitting as well as they are.

With Papi on the bench vs NL teams, I wouldn't mind seeing a 3-4-5 of Bogaert-Bradley-Betts (or, make that Betts-Bradley-Bogearts). Not much difference. For PR purposes call it the BBB lineup!

 

Of course as long as we are depending on two Good starting Pitchers, one to be seen later, and two that belong in Pawtucket, I guess we'd better get use to a lot more 10-9 games!

I like your first choice best, but either way works for me.
