Seeing Porcello pitch well is fun to watch. His ERA is down to about 3.5

It really is. He seemed to have everything working tonight.

no doubt. When everyone plays decent it's a fun game. All I want is a competitive team to watch.

All in all, I like games better when the Sox are up about 10-0

Good start by Porcello, hopefully Ross doesn't suck too much ass today.

So is this the right move or not? I say yes, even though Ross has sucked from time to time. Porcello did his job, getting into the 7th inning. If Ross gets two outs then it should be Koji and Kimbrel

I don't trust in Ross but we'll see.

Well I do too; however, they seemed to be surrounded by games where we can't buy a run. Consistency is what's needed.

I mean I don't have a problem with it. Tazawa can't pitch every game and extending Koji and Kimbrel more than an inning makes no sense here.

Its on Ross to not suck.

That was a situation where having Smith would really help

I love Vasquez's passion and enthusiasm behind the plate. Pitchers have to love that. He fist pumped strike 3 to Aybar before the ump even punched him out!!

Well done Mr. Ross.

6 1/3 IP, 0 ER from Porcello. Solid start #3 in a row.

Porcello and Wright carrying the staff.... just like we all said would happen.

Porcello was due for a reasonable comeback year IMO. Wright was unexpected, totally. The big question mark is Buchholz.

Besides this misery of a ball club, Atlanta's pretty gorgeous. I toured Georgia Tech in the fall, and I definitely want to go there. Not my top choice at the moment, but I fell in love with the city.

You mean OhGodno? :)

Yea, that dude.

I had to look it up. He's with a club, we might even see him in this series.

He is with the Braves

Well, it speaks volumes of how bad the braves are going to be this year.

This kind of makes me feel for the Atlanta fans. That guy loved giving up homers.

He is actually not pitching badly....ERA 2.38. His WHIP is high though

I grew up there. Wouldn't have picked a better place to live as a kid. Georgia Tech is one hell of a school too. A lot of my childhood friends went there.

Did the Rays really just use 3 different pitchers to pitch the 9th inning in a save situation?

They beat the Orioles. Thats what matters. If this score holds up we are one game closer to first place
