Meh. you see third basemen make that muff at least a couple times a year. NBD until it starts happening ALL the time.

It is no big deal but how ironic that it happened to him and that it happened this early. Would have looked a little better if he had been lower.

The only person who can be blamed if Sandoval has a failure of a year is Sandoval.

That is true. My point is that everyone had already deemed him a failure before he even played a ST game. Every single thing that he does remotely wrong will be magnified tenfold, such as this first "flub", which was a non-flub IMO.

The controversy will die down if he hits and fields his position. Simple as that.

Yup. To make it go away, play well.

I agree. And if he plays poorly then he will deserve the criticism. I just don't see the need for all the criticism before he has played any games.

Pablo apparently put on a pretty good defensive show today. It's only one game, but it's always good to hear.

And not a single comment in reply. Go figure...

The OFC live for screw ups, evidently.

Unfortunately, it seems that bad news elicits a lot more response than good news.

Well he did have 2 errors in his most recent performance....

Howver, this is still pretend baseball. Nothing matters until April.

That's pretty much all I've been saying. Give him a chance to play some real games before jumping all over him.

I think most people are on board with giving him a chance. I think some people are just nervous about his prospects.

We'll see. I wait until Memorial Day before I jump to any conclusions one way or the other.

Sorry, couldn't help myself, but I honestly think (hope?) he'll be fine (at least won't suck).

Your are right. Most people are willing to give the guy a chance. If he doesn't get it done, I just hope they make the change sooner as opposed to later. Shaw could still be the better player. Spring training in this case is very meaningful. he has to be able to field his position.

Please, I beg, no more fat guy pictures. Not what a baseball forum should be.

What is it with you and pictures of fat people? Are you fatphobic or something? (After Pablo's year last year though, I wouldn't blame you.)

Basically my reasons for partaking in baseball forums and the internet in general don't include grossout pictures. There are already too many grossouts you get ambushed with on the internet. That's all this is about.

Translation: I was not aroused by Jacko's selfie.

Don't worry brother, neither was I. No more pictures from fat people from me.

Or, maybe the issue is that he was. :D

That's not the impression I'm getting. IMO, most people have already made up their minds and have written him off. I think many people are hoping that he fails.
