Just heard that Alex Speir has reportedly seen Castillo packing up his locker. Word is he is off to Pawtucket.

 

That is best for everyone as I see it. He should get regular playing time there where he can hopefully develop skills that will help in in MLB one day.

I don't disagree with you, but the mere fact that this argument is reasonable shows the extent of the RS blunder. Just when will that day be? After his bloated RS contract is up and he's a free agent??

Steven Wright is going with him. All for Justin Masterson. If Masterson doesn't show signs of improvement, he needs to go. Steven Wright is better then him.

Hey don't blame me. I did not sign him. I think the Sox screwed the pooch on this. They spent way too much money on an old prospect. So far he is a bust in my eyes. I won't say that I saw this coming but I will say that I was not in favor of his signing. Just stupid money for someone who has never played high level ball in this country and who had not played in almost two years.

 

He could still prove to be worth all the money. I won't hold my breath.

Its pretty ridiculous that a guy that Orioles gave way for nothing has been more productive than Castillo.. Really not sure what to think of this guy at this point.

What the hell are you talking about? Ben took an acceptable chance on a guy who totally s*** the bed last year due to injury. He was justified in handing Masterson $9mil as a reclamation project, that's chump change nowadays. The fact that Masterson sucks is all on Masterson.
