Ban UN? from making anymore GTs LMAO.

Just ban the douche full stop. But that said, I'm coming round to his way of thinking about fan patience. This is baseball, no team goes 162-0.

This team is just embarrassing.

I keep saying that it is still early in the season. But jeez, this team shows very little signs of life.

The bats are a huge disappointment.

They have been so frustrating to watch. It is still early, and I think they will come around, but it would be nice if they didn't wait until June to do so. Late in spring training, I had a lot of confidence in this offense to be able to come from behind if they got down a few runs. That confidence has disappeared. Right now, this offense is looking too much like last year's.

Just terrible luck being combined with under performance today.

What an ugly game.

Not to make any excuses for them, because they stunk today, but there was also some pretty bad luck.

Is mojo quantifiable?

Yes, it is. NS's mojo, for instance is 50%. User's is 0% (sorry for calling you out UN). We need to sign a guy who can give us 80% mojo or better. ;)

The offense was bad today. Hanley just made it look like they did something.

It was. The 7 runs doesn't impress me when we're down by 10. Pitchers are going to pitch you differently when they have a big lead.

Where were the runs when we needed them so desperately last night?

I'm falling a bit shy of that. I'm only at 66.6666666666666667%. Too bad.

7 runs wins a lot of games. Unless the pitching gives up a shitload like they did today.

I understand the frustration of the fans, but they can't expect the FO to make panic moves after a rough patch of games. Patience is the key.

That's probably game. The pitching stinks! The offense stinks!

And the team stinks along with the manager and General Manager who failed miserably to put together a team that could compete. Admittedly, I drank the Kool Aid and believed those two nincompoops when they said that starting rotation would be decent enough to win games. Call me a damn fool. Smiley Miley sucks big time, Miserable Masterson is a disaster waiting to happen, Buttshit Buccholz needs a cigarette and a blindfold while Porcello and Kelly are pretending the are top notch pitchers. We need at least TWO quality starters and Cherington, instead o waxing poetic about all the talent we have down on the farm, should be cobbling together possible trades to get r id of those "prospects" who are blocked by the bloated contracts we handed out to a hitter who can field, a hitter who can't move and a couple of pitchers who are good only for batting practice. Sorry my friends but this team really stinks.

I have said before that I am more frustrated with our offense than I am with our pitching. I expected our pitching to be mediocre. Our offense was supposed to be able to carry that mediocrity, and they haven't gotten the job done.

I just heard the Sox are dead last in getting the lead of man on base. It seems like we can't get a baserunner on until there are 2 outs, then the next guy promptly comes up and makes an out.

Earth to Kimmy......our pitching is NOT mediocre. It is totally s*****.

Farrell needs to have a talk with his team after this game. Doesn't get any easier. Toronto up next.

And someone should have a talk with Farrell, followed by a swift kick in the ass and some advice of keeping Holt in that damn lineup come what may---maybe bring up Johnson. He can't be any worse than the garbage we've been sending out to the mount this season.

Hey, UN was being a good trooper and trying to dispense some positive mojo. He can't pitch for Smiley Miley or think for that baboon in the dugout. We will need a complete housecleaning this fall is we have another 2012 or 2014 season. Cherington is in over his head and is best suited for a job as Theo Epstein's gofer---which is what he was pretty much before. As for Farrell, he has front office experience but says he like the dugout. He doesn't belong in the dugout....kick him upstairs in charge of the latrines.

Truly, you are a wordsmith. You're like Mark Twain, except if he was still alive he'd be younger than you.

Trying to inject some caustic humor into a pretty sad and sorry situation Youk. All of us feel miserable right about now but some of us have a shorter fuse than others.

I'm going to have the temerity (or is the stupidity) of starting the game thread tomorrow. I figure I can't do worse than some of the others even though it is out of our hands since we don't have a shred of power to do anything about what goes on on the field. Hell, maybe I'll have some good vibes and we can start a winning streak.

I think everyone is overreacting. Have we forgotten that it's April 26? Have we forgotten that there are still 143 games left? Everyone needs to take something from Aaron Rodgers and just R-E-L-A-X. Remember when we used to get off to all of these slow starts with Francona at the helm? It's going to turn around. Team chemistry isn't at its peak yet. This 9 game home stand will be a good determining factor of whether or not we are as bad as y'all are saying we are. I've been saying it since January and I'm sticking to it. With the current rotation or getting a number 1 or 2 starter?

We'll pick one up at the deadline. No doubt about it.

I take full responsibility for this loss. I could not watch the game I mojo'd because of a family situation. It will not happen again.

In a site full of supposed adults, the kid in High School is the voice of reason. A lot of you should be ashamed that you have to be scolded by someone in the middle of puberty because you're acting like an entitled brat. Food for thought.

Agreed. The kid's done good of late.

Nothing bad, I hope. And don't take responsibility that belongs solely with Miley Cyrus.

Could be too late by then. The problem is if we are still stinking after a month, when arguably Ben should be looking for outside help, teams will be squeezing Ben's balls and the price of anyone good will be astronomical.

Extended family member died. They lived in another city, and my dad really wanted to go. Since he can't drive anymore because of vision problems, I had to drive him there and go through the whole ordeal.

Thought you were going to say everyone needs to take something from Aaron Rodgers and make extremely s***** insurance company ads.

I'm sorry to hear that, UN.
