Normally, I hate 1-0 games, even when the Red Sox win. But last night was different. This 1-0 game was acceptable. Yes, there were not as many runs scored by our beloved Red Sox as we would like, or that a shutout can only occur when the opposing team can't hit the ball into the beach standing in the ocean. It showed us that even when we get outdueled by an ace, we can still beat those Rays, because well, they suck, and we don't.

Here we are, on day #3 of Thunder mojo. I hope that I have earned the right to institute my mojo when I please. The Red Sox are finding many different ways to win, and they are winning one run games, a thing they did back in the magical year that was known as 2013. They've started to come from behind to win, another thing that led to their 2013 success, and was a big part of their 2014 failures. I find confidence in the fact that there are many different ways to win, which goes up exponentially when the opponent is a team as bad as the Rays, the shame of Florida in all sports, worse than their NFL city-counterparts, the Bucs. At least they'll be getting a Heisman winner with the 1st pick in the NFL draft. The Rays don't deserve to reside in the tropical paradise that is Florida. They should not have a home city, and play all of their games on the road, because the Trop is just north of hell, but Hades himself would probably much rather torture his subjects by having them listen to foghorns, cowbells while sitting on rugged Astroturf for eternity. This Rays team is worse than anything seen in the late 90s and early 2000s. Why shouldn't we destroy them? We don't need all these fancy ways of winning. All we need is about 10 runs and a 2 hitter (or less). That would be nice.

The Pitching Matchup:

Joseph "Do not call me Jr." Kelly, Jr. (1-0, 2.13) vs Nathan "Raise your hand if you've heard of me, because even I haven't" Karns (1-1, 4.58)

Show no mercy!

WIN!

Have you seen a photo of Nathan Karns? He looks like the beer vendor.

I had to look him up after I saw his name. It would make sense for the Rays to just pick people out of the crowd to play for them.

Saw in USA Today that on this day back in 1959 the White Sox scored 11 runs in one inning against KC and only had 1 hit. Lolwat.

That's really whack.
