Ever since the Biogenesis scandal broke and then yielded myriad suspensions in the summer of 2013 -- including a 211-gamer to Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez -- A-Rod has done nothing but vehemently deny the charges publicly. It appears he sang a different tune when facing DEA agents' questioning in private, per a report in the Miami Herald.

He really is the gift that keeps on giving.
LOL...if I ran the Yanks I would just give him his flat out release....just eat the cash and send the f***er packing for Japan.

I'm sick of the guy. I can't think of one nice thing to say about him.

He is a blight on baseball. I wonder if he will play this year. I can't see the Yankees eating 61 mil. But what a PR nightmare he is for not only the Yankees but for MLB as a whole.

To me, the lasting image of him will always be him swatting the ball out of Arroyo's glove and the pretending to be innocent while standing on second base. This typifies his behavior. Everyone knows you are guilty yet you pretend to be not guilty.

What a puke.

Well we all agree that A-Fraud is a total dip s***, but a better question would be why the Yankees want him back in the first place? The guy is a total virus to the team and organization and despised by his own Players Association members. I think I know why though. The Pinstripers are hoping that he has one last good season in him and can help them reach the playoffs. That team is so devoid of decency and class that they would sell their own mothers down the river to sniff a chance at another WS Title.

Well Fred, that sniff is going to cost $61. mil.

If I am Yankee management I want to unload this cancer. I bet that The Yankee lawyers have been constantly looking for a way to release the puke.
