Today is the day we get our rings and watch our band of brothers destroy the ritualistic sacrifice placed before them. Jake Peavy and co. shall drain the alcohol laden blood of the Brewers from their bodies and toast ice cold mugs of it in celebration.

Brew crew, you are completely and irreversibly f***ed.

I hope Drew doesn't show up to collect his ring. Wouldn't want Fred to have a heart attack at Fenway.

I read that he won't be attending. Neither will Victorino, he has the flu.

I've lived down south for the past 15 months and been sick more times I had in the previous 10 years combined. I swear there's STDs in the air down here.

I hope Joel Hanrahan, Andrew Bailey, Johnathan Diaz, Daniel Bard, Brayan Villareal, Rubby de la Rosa, and Jose de la Torre all show up, they really worked hard for those rings.

I think there should be some sort of games played limit or something for guys to get a ring if they didn't actually play in the postseason.

The guys you mentioned should get an earring, at most.

I'm stuck at school for this one. Oh well, life isn't supposed to be easy.

Wow, that's brutal. I'm sorry you have to go through that. Our thoughts are with you...

Even worse, I'm actually in my study hall class instead of the library.

I was under the impression that there WAS a games played threshold to get a ring. There is also some kind of consensus where people involved (players maybe?) can decide who gets rings. I don't remember, but you don't automatically get a ring by default, I don't think.
