At least you aren't one of those weird Yankees/Pats fans.

 

That's not that weird here in CT...neither is Sox/Giants. When you have more than one team in your general geographic area, you end up with different choices in different sports for different reasons.

 

Besides, the Patriots are basically the Yankees of football.

IMO the Cowboys are the Yankees of football. I know 2 New Yorkers who are Yankee/Cowboy fans. Nauseating!!

Same. I'm not a patriots fan at all. I'm not necessarily a bruins fan either, though I like them.

The Patriots are sneaky. By claiming the entire region of New England for its fanbase, they can expand their influence into Yankee territory like southwest connecticut, and even the eastern edge of upstate NY.
