Not really. If we don't throw the ball around the park in either game 2 or game 3, we're dumping champagne right now. The Sox are deeper, more talented, and have a better ace than the Cards. We should win this Series. And we're going to.

OK muthaf***as! The gloves will be off tonite. Puig showed his ass and we stomped the s*** out of LA after that! Wainwright will be pissed at Gomes partying like it's 1999 in our house. Look for him to be drilled like Beltran was in game 2. Payback.

The only Ross/Salty discussion at this point is about Lackey and how well he has done with Salty. However I just can't believe that as much of a professional as Lackey is, he would be at some sort of a deficit pitching to Ross. Clearly defensive lapses are huge in this series. I think it has to be Ross in Game 6.

Celtics up 3-2 in 2010 still haunts me. I'm not uncorking a damn thing yet.

 

Big difference is that series went back to LA. A lot harder to win a series on the road. Even harder to win on the road when you're down 3-2.

The pitching duels have been awesome. But if the Sox could score a pile of runs for Lackey on Wednesday that would be cool also.
