Last night was awesome, do it again tonight. Wacha has been a roll lately, lets put an end to that tonight. The Cardinals won't repeat last nights performance on the field, so tonight will be tougher. Get this win and sit comfortable at 2-0. Lackey going to put it some serious work tonight. I want to get home from work and see positive results. I don't care how we do it, JUST WIN!!!

Doubters gonna doubt.

Red Sox will romp tonight. They won't repeat last night's performance of missed opportunities to score; it will be an even tougher night for the Cardinals.

VA....you know that there are visitors here so please have the decency to include the Cards lineup too!

Might be different right now but from what I heard a few minutes ago in the car, the Cards lineup has not been posted yet.

Good point...Matheny is still trying to figure out WHO will DH with Beltran sitting. The best hitter on the Card bench now is Wainwright!

I'm actually surprised they didn't have Adams DH last night and have someone else play 1b.
Like who?

Oh and people are already saying Lester was cheating, using vaseline in his glove last night.
Did you see the video?

What is it with you and "seeing videos". Can you prove that it was vaseline? I didn't know it came in green color now. No one is sure of what exactly was in his glove other than Lester, but whatever it was, it didn't alert the umpires, and it was clearly visible.

She'll get around to it. She pulls it off boston.com when available.

MLB's statement on the substance found on Lester's glove:

In full, the statement provided by MLB senior vice president of public relations Pat Courtney read: "We cannot draw any conclusions from this video. There were no complaints from the Cardinals, and the umpires never detected anything indicating a foreign substance throughout the game."

Farrell's explanation:

Red Sox manager John Farrell said the mysterious glob was merely resin

Feel free to continue using that as an excuse to justify yesterday's butt-whooping Cards fans.

Let them bitch and moan. Maybe if the Cardinals pitcher and catcher didnt wait for each other to catch an easy pop up that dropped between them etc then they would have took the beating they did last night.

Hopefully the Sox take full advantage tonight and go to St.Louis 2-0 up in the Series.

I don't know what the f*** that green s*** was in his glove, but it was not rosin. (a powder) Whatever it was, I want Wacha to have some too!

It was resin. MLB and the Cardinals organization agreed. Stop whining and try to keep up.

Since I play the violin, I can assure you that it was not ROSIN. If that's all it was, why was Lester concealing it so slyly? I personally don't give a s*** what Matheny and the org. had to say about it. I don't have any faith in those morons anyhow!

Those NY based mediots on twitter have started their discrediting campaign against the Red Sox. Remember Buchholz and resin? Now it's Lester and resin. These guys hate the Red Sox. Stark, Passan, and the rest. Passan even injected racism in a story the other night about a HR ball being thrown back on the field. They just can't accept the possibility that the Red Sox might be better than the Cardinals--like they were in '04. You just hope this nonsense doesn't distract the Red Sox.

Morons? You're not happy with your team's level of success?

I saw video of Beltran hitting a triple once, you know what that means.
