Dempsters stuff truly is lacking. If he threw harder, he could get away with more of the mistakes he makes. But he doesnt throw hard.. And he makes mistakes... And they get smoked into the outfield.

We need a new catcher next season.

Some good ones in the FA market after the season. Ruiz and McCann should be prime targets for the Sox.

I'm just happy that we can take care of Dempster's suckitude and King Felix's pitching in the same game. Thank god we won last night. Can we please now put Dempster in the bullpen and let Workman keep the rotation spot?

If Buchholz can come back and be right then our rotation should be: Buchholz-Lester-Peavy-Lackey-Doubront.

If he can't then give me Lester-Peavy-Lackey-Doubront-Workman.

Dumpster shouldn't even sniff the rotation anymore. He was fine to start the season but he's terrible now. He was terrible in Texas and he's still terrible...

I really do hope Workman is the guy that stays in the rotation. It seemed like all the TV talking head experts anointed Workman as the guy going to the pen as soon as the deal was announced. Figured they must have an inside track on the Sox intentions but at this point I would much prefer Workman remain in the rotation. Dempster has been on a pretty steady slide now for weeks.

So you're finally seeing Dempster sucking? I said it a few months ago.

Who knows if Dempster has bottomed out still. He has been in a free fall with each start worse than the last one.

His last start wasnt too bad at all, though he exited early. Only 1 run in 5.1 too the o's. i still dont want him in this rotation though.

Dempster has been hard to watch for about five weeks now. Don't think we had much to complain about before that. But I don't think he has had an uptick in the last five weeks to where he is now...which is truly awful. Even going back five weeks he was better than he is now. But once he started downhill every outing has been worse than the last and he is still in free fall.

The NESN guys just said Workman to the pen again. So it must be the story the FO is currently peddling. I suppose they could change their minds. I guess I don't understand why the FO so quickly opted for Workman going to the pen instead of Dempster.
