I knew that inning would be a f***ing waste with Drew and Holt batting in the inning. It's gonna be up to Victorino, Pedey, and Ortiz.

 

One thing that gets tough in these "extras" games is that everybody goes up looking to end it with one swing..especially at home. Usually plays right into the pitcher's hands. Think that sorta' happened to Pedey when he came up in the 9th. Pedey is great going opposite field but looked like he was trying to get a pitch he could drive to LF. Tried till two strikes and that was the end of that.

Going into this game, in 23 games (96 AB's) Morales is .260/.298/.448/.746 with 4 HR's and a 21/5 K/BB ratio.

 

This season though, I just checked and he's 12/26 with 3 homers and 6 RBI against us.

I'd let Breslow start the next inning (if there is one) against Ibanez/Chavez/Saunders considering they all do worse against lefties. Hell even the 4th hitter (Ackley) is also worse against lefties.
